Have You Visited NYC???

No.  Why not?

Besides being the most fashionable city in the USA, there’s so much to explore.  The lights, the taxis, the environment, the atmosphere, the monuments…and so much more.  I absolutely love visiting the city and get excited each time as if I have never been.  My new goal is to go every single year in February for fashion week so that I can experience cold weather and fashion experiences at the same time.

On this most recent trip for our family Destination Christmas, I journeyed up to the city with the hub and 2 little explorers.  All 3 were visiting the city for the first time and we had a blast.  Taking kids into cold weather, which is totally out of their norm, is not easy; but doable.  On a later date, I’ll tell you how to pack for cold vacation with little ones.  For now, let’s enjoy this festive green sweater that I paired with baggish looking pants from H&M.

Absolutely love NYC

This outfit spoke measures to me when I finally pulled it all together.  The scarf was an added accessory because of the 12 degree weather near the Brooklyn Bridge and might I say, it worked out fabulously.  I was thrilled at how well my photos had come out, considering I was fighting with this ever cold weather.  Fortunately, I was layered very well underneath.  The talented Vonecia Carswell was behind the lens for these shots and many more to come.  Quick description of the fit and then photos for days.  ENJOY!!!

I paired this oversized green sweater, which I grabbed from Marshall’s with H&M orangy brown pants and scarf, alongside 1.State White pumps and The Limited leather gloves.  The look was finished off with my Gucci Soho cross body bag.  This look is by far one of my favorites from this shoot.

As you can see, the only matching colors in this look are my lips and the scarf.  Don’t be afraid to use different color patterns and make them fit.

Bye now!
