As a Sales Professional, I am always tasked with delivering an image that will deliver my product. Image is key. It’s the very first thing seen by the person with whom you will meet.
-Image gives them a perception of who YOU are; not the company you work for. Is she neat; clean; sharp; tidy; organized; dependable; colorful; plain; bold; strong; apprehensive; intelligent?
-Image tells a person all of those things.
-Image is your first impression; in all walks of life.
-Image is so important that I have a self portrait in my email’s signature. A photo, which showcases me as beautiful, witty, smart, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and intelligent. This is what those C-Level executives see through my photo. It gives them something to go by before they take the appointment. How do I know? In some meetings, the client spends more time getting to know me than my product, which happens more often than not for many professional saleswomen.
