It’s no surprise that I struggle to find the perfect shade of foundation, concealer, powder, etc for my skin. My makeup fix is simply to even my skin tone and have a simple glow to my daily appearance for work and sometimes a late night of fun. Finding the perfect color was so difficult in the beginning that I simply said not today and walked off. Luckily, I never gave up. Since Sephora has always been my go-to store for makeup fixes, I tried the color match tool AGAIN and was introduced to a shade of mineral powder by Bare Minerals. For the first time, the color did not need blending with a different shade for my skin tone, it matched well enough to give me that desired look. I have since gone back for the concealer and other products that Bare Minerals offer.
Not only is Bare Minerals a very compatible look for me, but it’s a very lightweight finish. I am using their concealer, powder, liquid foundation, eye shadows, and blush with no plans to change this regimen anytime soon.
A friend, Estefania Buzenas, spent some time with me recently; applying the make-up that I am wearing in the face shot. She did a very good job keeping my look natural with a pop, as she went with a smoky eye. Red lipstick is my staple; therefore, I conned her into allowing me to wear red lipstick. Enjoy!
